3:35 PM English gets the holeshot but then shakes the tires and has to back off the throttle. Manzo makes another great run in the heat.

Gill gets bye and is just racing for lane choice. He gets close to the centerline near the finish line but holds on for a decent run.

Payne gets the second scheduled bye this round. He needs to run better than a 5.667 to get lane choice over Manzo next round.....but he doesn't do it. White and Lourie were scheduled to run this round, but neither one showed.
