Anderson drilled Blakeney on the tree and then just drove away in the second Summit car.

Coughlin with the starting line advantage and then Martino got out of the groove. Martino stayed with it as long as he could, but finally had to give it up around 1000 feet.

Richie won this one on both ends of the track here. Stevens loses lane choice to Anderson in the semi-finals.

They both turn on the pre-stage lights and then take their time to stage. Warren finally goes in first after 16 seconds. Alderman with the light and the power to send Johnson home. He will give up lane choice to Coughlin in the semis.
