ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock at the 31st Matco Tools Spring SuperNationals presented by Racing Champions:

The temperature is 85 degrees, humidity is 39% and barometer is 29.89 inches, under sunny skies. This is the second time this have raced this year and Martino wins this one to make it 2 and 0. Martino with his third hole-shot win of the year. Margin of victory = 0.030 seconds (approximately 9 feet).

This is the first time these two have faced off this year. Jeter drilled Patrick on the tree and never looked back.

Krisher was fourth quickest yesterday in time trials. It did not matter as Anderson got the hole shot and never looked back.

Allen Johnson was out of the gate first, but Warren was able to chase him down with the quickest pass of the session.

Alderman left first and then had the power to hold off the hard charging Coughlin. Margin of victory = 0.019 seconds (approximately 6 feet).

Number one and two in points and this could be Johnson's last chance at the championship. Jeg won it on a hole shot, and that was the fifth time this year Jeg has won on a hole shot.
