12:25 PM After a live TV timeout, the "factory hotrods" take their turn on center stage. Ironically the two Dodges in the field meet in the first round. It was a close race, won on a holeshot by "the other Dodge," the margin of victory = 0.007 seconds (approximately 2 feet).

Martino got a great light and a huge holeshot, but "the Kid" runs low ET of the weekend (so far) and wins by a margin of victory = 0.007 seconds (approximately 2 feet).

After a horrible first run, Pawuk was consistently among the quickest in each session, while Allen was in the middle of the pack. But today, with cooler temperatures and overcast skies, Pawuk opened the door with a sub-par light and had to run low ET of the weekend to get the win by a margin of victory = 0.047 seconds (approximately 13 feet).

Marnell got a present for his 50th birthday (today), WJ breaking on the burnout. As he staged, WJ's crew members were removing the hood on the Goodwrench Firebird. Marnell goes to round two, losing lane choice to Pawuk.

Not a match one expects to see in round one, Yates needing a last-session clutch run to squeak into the field. The race was as close as you'd expect with these two, Krisher with a better light and a better run to win by a margin of victory = 0.034 seconds (approximately 10 feet). But he loses lane choice to Stevens in round two.

These two put on a brief staging duel, then KJ rolled in to end that nonsense. Jeter nailed him to the tree, but KJ had the last laugh, winning by a margin of victory = 0.009 seconds (approximately 3 feet). He also earns lane choice against Troy Coughlin in round two.

Jeg stole this one, Osborne finally going in first after a staging duel and Jeg with the holeshot win by a margin of victory = 0.021 seconds (approximately 6 feet). He also wins lane choice against Allen Johnson in round two.
