CLERMONT, Ind. - Notes from final, round 5 qualifying in Pro Stock Bike at the 46th annual U.S. Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Neil Jacobs Runs 7.600/173.70, Now #20; Best prior run: 7.538/179.56, Was #20
Right Lane: Brian Ayers Runs 7.671/173.83, Now #23; Best prior run: 7.582/171.64, Was #23

6:42 PM-The trucks didn't make to many changes and the bikes have about the same conditions. No help for either rider.

Right Lane: Shawn Gann Runs 7.394/177.79, Now #8; Best prior run: 7.389/175.41, Was #8

Good pass for Gann, but the position stays the same. No help for Arana. The bump is held by Michael Phillips.
