5:50 PM The final round got off to a bad start for Shirley, her car refusing to go into reverse and her crew having to run down and push her back to the starting line. Millican could have pushed the issue and staged, but he waited for her crew to get her back so they could make a race of it. When the tree came down, it was all Millican on reaction time, the two cars very close in performance. That's it, it's 6:00 PM and this race is history. See you in Cordova, Ill. in two weeks.
