1:15 PM Miner left first, but Newberry had the horsepower and traction to take the win. Miner was moving around a little on the top end of the track and that might have slowed him down.

Branch lost traction at 200', the car fishtailing before he got off the throttle at 600'.

Gill was having trouuble keeping the car in the middle of his lane, drifting toward the centerline at the top end. Austin will have lane choice over Newberry in the semi's.

Harker's car was dancing around a bit, he had his hands full in this game effort, but Payne had too much for him at every interval. Payne will have lane choice over Bartone in the semi-final round.
