3:57 PM Harker got out of the groove at 300' and had to click it off, but he still advances due to Cheeseman leaving early.

Newberry will have lane choice over Miner in the second round. Monaghan slowed after half track for some reason, but the view from here was obstructed by a rather large tow vehicle.

The cars are fighting a fairly stout crosswind right now, teams are taking down some of the inflatable ad balloons here at the track. Branch will give up lane choice to Bartone in the next round.

Hyland's car was bouncing around quite a bit on the top half of the track, he had his hands full with this one. Payne has lane choice over Harker in round two.

The final pair of the round, and Gill uses his best time of the weekend to chase down Simpson. Gill will be giving up lane choice to Pat Austin in the second round.
