It has been sunny and dry all four days, allowing the race cars to reach their potential. Despite the record numbers posted by the nitro-fueled entries in this Federal-Mogul category, the final comes down to two very quick blown alcohol cars. They left together, but then it was all 1998 and 1999 Winston champion Santos' race, his car consistently in the mid-forties after an off-pace first round. Congratulations to Santos and the crew for a great race and a great 1999 season.
