Force Clinches 9th Title



ENNIS, Texas - Results of round 2 eliminations in Funny Car at the 14th annual O'Reilly Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec:

The Safety Safari spent quite a while working on the shutdown area before they fired these two. They left together, then Cannon started smoking the tires and Force streaked away with another nearly flawless run, easily earning lane choice against Capps in the semifinals.

Another flawless run, this one by the Interstate Batteries Pontiac in the right lane. As good as it was, however, TJ loses lane choice to Bazemore by 0.008 seconds in what promises to be a great semifinal matchup.
