3:12 PM Nickens took a 0.08 CIC hit last round, so was at a disadvantage against Tanksley and tried to make it all up at the tree - he went deep red instead.

Tanksley's second-round opponent was incorrectly reported as Doug Stewart in the second-round report. His opponent was actually Larry Mayes in that round.

Swindoll's air scoop is patched together with "racer tape" (duct tape to the rest of us) after being blown off the car in round two. Swindoll had more problems here, off the throttle way before the finish line.
