8:33 PM This is usually the final race of an event, but with all the rain delays there are still a couple hundred Sportsman racers left in competition.

Herbert wins his second Top Fuel title in less than a week on a pedaling contest, Head losing traction first and then Herbert about 300 feet out. Herbert's momentum gave him the advantage and he won by over half a second. When you're hot ...

The win is Herbert's fourth of the year in six final round appearances, and unofficially moves him all the way up to fourth in the points.
