MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Funny Car at the 12th annual AutoZone Nationals presented by Pennzoil:

4:29 PM Capps with lane choice chooses the left lane. Tony leaves first, breaks the tires loose, pedals and saves the run. Capps loses traction about 100' out, pedals and breaks the tires loose again.

Johnson gets a big holeshot and never looked back. Cristen gets out about 100' and breaks the big goodyears loose and has to abort the run.

Force has lane choice and chooses to stay in the left lane, where the last two cars have gone up in smoke. He makes it through the spot everyone else has broken the tires loose and gets low ET of the weekend so far. Gilbertson breaks the tires loose about 100' out. Force will have lane choice over Johnson in round three.

Densham goes boils the tires right off the line, pedals, then aborts the run. Hoffman makes a good enough run to get lane choice over Tony Pedregon in the next round.
