MILLINGTON, Tenn. -
11:00 AM - The 12th annual AutoZone Nationals presented by Pennzoil are still
in a holding pattern here at Memphis Motorsports Park. Track drying is going
very slowly because the air is extremely humid and a light mist keeps
recoating the track surface. The mist is too light to show on the doppler
weather radar pictures, which already show us as "in the clear."
The moisture is slowly moving to the northeast, so we probably will be able
to resume racing this afternoon. Exactly when this afternoon is anyone's
guess.
We'll let you know when the cars are called to the lanes.
