Herbert is out of the gate first, and then Amato started to lose traction he pedals it once and when he gets back on the throttle he blisters the the big Goodyears. Herbert before this weekend had not won a round of racing since winning the race in Columbus back in June. Larry Fraizer won the crew chief of the race award, this is the third race that Fraizer has been Herbert's crew chief. With Herbert's win Schumacher leaves with the points lead and Amato is in second. Herbert stays in seventh place.
