Action Still On Hold

TOPEKA, Kan. --
The NHRA Marketing folks are assembling the participants for the pre-race
ceremony here at the Advance Auto Parts Nationals at Heartland Park, as the
Safety Safari has completed their track drying process and we're ready to go
racing.
The weather delays have virtually eliminated any chance that NHRA will be
able to complete this event today, and right now the plan is that we'll
work to finish the pro category eliminations today and leave the sportsman
until tomorrow.
We expect the first round of Top Fuel will kick off within the hour, so stay
tuned for all the action from the land of Oz.
