5:34 PM and the final pair of cars concludes the event with a good race. They were pretty even to 330 feet, but then Bernstein started spinning the tires slightly and Amato pulled away for a margin of victory of 0.076 seconds, approximately 35 feet. It took Jimmy Prock awhile to get a handle on things here, but once he did Amato's worst run was a 4.605, a stunning series of quick, fast runs on a tricky racing surface.
