Under the dark skies the temperature is 74 degrees, humidity is 28% and the barometer is 29.90 inches. Pulde leaves first and is up in smoke immediately while Etchells goes about 100 feet and then starts to chatter the tires. The header flames disappear completely as he lifts off the throttle and then they light back when he gets back into it. He keeps the candles lit the rest of the way through the quarter mile. This is Etchells 13 win in 25 final rounds.
