3:11 PM Both these drivers have dipped into the "luck bank" to get this far today, Bernstein in round one and Cory Mac in round two. Here the luck went back to Bernstein's lane, Cory Mac running quicker at every mark to half track, and then losing traction violently, the engine letting go - which came first was hard to tell from here. Bernstein got the win light by a big margin as Cory Mac slowed to a stop, the car smoking heavily. He's okay, his season is over, and the Safety Safari has more work to do.

Good drag race, but Scelzi had Dixon covered all the way, ahead at every incremental time. It was close on the top end, Scelzi's car spitting flames out the right side in the lights, but he won by over a car length and has lane choice over Bernstein in the final round.
