Pro Stock Motorcycle Qualifying Notes, Final Session

ROCKINGHAM, N.C. - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, Inaugural NHRA Nationals at The Rock listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Right Lane: Marcus Hylton Runs 10.930/77.52, Now #14; Best prior run: 7.104/185.03, Was #14

Weather conditions: air temperature 79 degrees, relative humidity 29 percent, barometer 29.87 inches, adjusted altitude 2,146 feet, track temperature 104 degrees.

Hylton clicked it off early.

Left Lane: Marc Ingwersen Runs 6.882/193.63, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.787/198.41, Was #10
Right Lane: Geno Scali Runs 6.925/196.76, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.861/197.72, Was #12

Ingwersen is straight down the groove.

Scali with a good clean pass.

Right Lane: Clayton Howey Runs 6.815/197.63, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.775/198.15, Was #9

Howey had to swap engines between rounds. He is straight down the groove with a good clean pass.

Left Lane: Chase Van Sant Runs 6.817/199.82, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.759/201.34, Was #8
Right Lane: Joey Gladstone Runs 6.786/199.38, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.732/201.34, Was #6

Van Sant is straight down the groove with a good clean pass.

Gladstone kept it hooked up with a good pass.

Left Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 6.751/198.41, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.737/199.65, Was #7
Right Lane: Richard Gadson Runs 6.778/201.43, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.683/202.41, Was #4

Johnson with another good looking pass.

Gadson is straight down the groove.

Left Lane: Gaige Herrera Runs 6.680/202.07, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.707/199.91, Was #5
Right Lane: Ryan Oehler Runs 6.754/197.98, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.681/202.25, Was #3

Herrera launched hard and kept it hooked up to make his quickest pass of the weekend to go to the number two spot.

Angie Smith is straight down the groove with another good pass. She holds on to the number one spot for the fourth time this season and sixth time in her career.
