Michalek left before the tree was activated to give Dreher the win.

This is the first time Phillips and Gutierrez have faced each other in eliminations.

Since 2020 that was just the 7th time that the #16 TAD qualifier won in Rd. 1 (and the 2nd time in the last 2 races) That was John Gutierrez's first round win in his last 7 races.

Gutierrez with a good light and slight starting line advantage, he never trailed for the win.

Phillips had a cylinder out early.

This is the first time Noonan and Hunter have faced each other in eliminations.

Noonan with a slight starting line advantage, but shook. He pedaled it and got it to hook up, but couldn't chase down Hunter. Hunter with his career quickest pass for the win. Hunter with lane choice over Dreher in the semifinal.
