LAS VEGAS - Notes from final, round 3 qualifying in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Pacific Division, event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Right Lane: Mitch Myers Runs 8.176/108.77, Now #11; Best prior run: 5.503/253.37, Was #11

Weather conditions: air temperature 71 degrees, relative humidity 25 percent, barometer 29.86 inches, adjusted altitude 3,459 feet.

Myers starts to shake and pedals it back into tire shake and pedals it one more time before lifting. He will not get in the show.

Left Lane: Braiden Chesleigh Runs 5.423/247.34, Now #9; Best prior run: 5.472/221.74, Was #9
Right Lane: Randy Eakins Runs 5.462/245.94, Now #10; Best prior run: 5.479/242.28, Was #10

Chesleigh was straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the day, but will not get in the show.

Eakins with a good clean pass, but he will not improve and will not get in the show.

Left Lane: Madison Payne Runs 5.347/274.16, Now #6; Best prior run: 5.309/273.00, Was #6
Right Lane: Jackie Fricke Runs 5.322/275.79, Now #7; Best prior run: 5.408/273.39, Was #8

Payne kept it hooked up with another good pass, but will not improve.

Fricke is straight down the groove with her quickest pass today to move up the ladder one spot.

Left Lane: Shaunda Blinzler Runs 5.316/272.28, Now #5; Best prior run: 5.307/273.00, Was #5
Right Lane: Taylor Januik Runs 6.630/144.72, Now #8; Best prior run: 5.332/272.67, Was #8

Blinzler kept it hooked up and hitting on alle eight for another good looking pass. She will not improve and stays in the number five spot.

Januik with a big bang around half track.

Left Lane: Joey Severance Runs 9.955/81.46, Now #2; Best prior run: 5.253/273.61, Was #2
Right Lane: Rich McPhillips Jr. Runs 5.290/272.34, Now #4; Best prior run: 5.285/273.16, Was #4

Severance lost traction right at the hit and clicked it off.

McPhillips kept it hooked up and hitting on all eight for another good looking pass. He will not improve and stays in the number four spot. Rich McPhillips Jr.'s incremental times: 60ft-0.942 sec., 330ft-2.419, 660ft-3.523/225.18 mph, 1,000ft-4.471.

Left Lane: Shawn Cowie No Time, Now #1; Best prior run: 5.221/276.46, Was #1
Right Lane: Jon Bradford Runs 7.266/108.28, Now #3; Best prior run: 5.278/272.89, Was #3

Cowie appeared to roll the beams and throw away another good looking pass.

Bradford lost traction right at the hit and clicked it off.
