12:23 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 76 degrees, relative humidity 24 percent, barometer 28.97 inches, adjusted altitude 2,580 feet, track temperature 98 degrees.

Naylor get's too quick and misses the tree by -0.006. Stanfield has a lot of power for the conditions and makes a strong pass into round two.

Humphreys gets off the line first and makes his best run of the weekend to defeat a strong Gaines. Two clean and straight passes.

WOW! Looks like Line has been using his practice tree over the winter! An amazing 0.001 light and Summit Racing power end the contest quickly. Glidden has a fair light, but slowed from his prior best.

AJ gets a big advantage off the line and uses the family's strong Dodge power to drive steadily away from Hartford.

Johnson will need to work on his RT, but The Professor's big power catches Koretsky's Nitrofish Cobalt before the 330 lights.

We will have the two JOhnson families meeting in round two with AJ keeping lane choice.

KJ has all of the numbers and runs close to his qualifying time to decisively defeat Edwards.

He will have lane choice over Line in the next round.

It's all Anderson, all of the time. He gets a hundredth off the line and then resets the ET mark for the race in defeating a slowing Gray. No shame in getting beat in your first race, when you have to run against the Pontiac.

He meet Stanfield in the next round with lane choice again.

Krisher gets a small advantage at the green, but is trailing by 0.002 at sixty feet. Coughlin pulls further ahead all the way to the finish line for the 48 plus foot MOV.
