Larry McBride (shown here racing against Chris Hand on Friday night)
thrilled the Houston Raceway Park crowd on Sunday afternoon with the
quickest and fastest motorcycle pass ever, 5.99 at 243 mph. McBride towed
back up the return road in front of the crowd just as Tom Martino and Jeg
Coughlin were staging for their semi-final duel and the roar of the crowd
honoring McBride just about drowned out the sound of the 2 Pro Stockers.
