Force won each of the previous two rounds on a holeshot. Burkart got out of the gates just a thousandth of a second before Force, but Force was out in front at 60 feet. Force pulled ahead and was leading past the 660 foot marker, then his car broke. Burkart's car broke a split second later but he had enough left to get by Force and take the win.
