This is the first time Lastor and Krisher have faced each other in Pro Stock, one of three "first-time" pairings in this round. Lastor treed Krisher and appeared to have Krisher covered, leading all the way past the 1,000-foot mark. But then things turned nasty, Lastor's car drifted out of the groove at almost the same spot Alderman got out of shape, making a hard right turn just past half track, toward the centerline, then turned sideways when he tried to bring it back, rolled over once, then slid a long way down the track before coming to a stop.
