Capps is 4 - 1 against Richards in prior events.

Richards does his burnout and cannot gets the car in reverse. The crew rushes out and pushes him back to the starting line.

Capps gets out of the gate first and starts pulling away. Richards went up in smoke at the hit, the car making a violent move to the right, and he had to back off of the throttle. Capps went down the groove with a decent pass to take the win.

Alexander will have lane choice over Capps in the next round.
