This is the first time Tasca III and Densham have faced each other in eliminations.

Tasca gets out of the gate first, gets about 500 feet out and strikes the tires. He pedals and gets the slicks to hook back up. Densham started making up ground, then he makes a move toward the centerline and the flames go out. Tasca is able to hang on and take the win.
