Jeff Diehl is making his 89th start and his 3rd this year.

Force is 10 - 0 against Diehl in prior events.

Diehl leaves the line first but goes up in smoke before he gets 50 feet out. Force is back out in front before they reach the sixty foot mark and goes down the groove with a great run for the conditions to take the win.

John Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.872 sec., 330ft-2.220, 660ft-3.110/290.98 mph.
