Scott Kalitta 0.072 | 4.563 | 320.13 Todd Paton 0.073 | 10.085 | 91.27	Kalitta won here in 1994 and 1995. This is Paton's first NHRA Top Fuel start. Paton shook the tires hard when he launched. He tried to drive through it but couldn't so he shut the car down at 330 feet. Kalitta had a clean run for the win. He'll have lane choice over Herbert in round two.
