Tim Wilkerson, who has gone from 10th place at the start of the Countdown to 4th place now, was the 2008 winner at this race. His 393 round wins are 7th best in the history of the FC class.

Wilkerson and Diehl have each won 1 times against the other in prior events.

Wilkerson gets out of the gate first and starts to pull away. Diehl gets about 200 feet out, strikes the tires and gives up on the run. Wilkerson goes right down the groove with a clean pass to take the win.
