Beckman gets out of the gate first and starts to pull away. Arend gets about 250 feet out, rattles the tires a little, then looks like he blew a head gasket as flames came from under the car. Beckman went right down the groove with a good pass to take the win.

Beckman is fourth in the points, starting eliminations 131 points behind Capps. He picks up 20 points with the win but still needs a lot of help from the drivers ahead of him to have a chance.
