He is the #1 qualifier and the top qualifier at this event has only won four times in the last thirty-eight years..This will be Cory McClenathan's 22nd time at this event and he has won it twice. Brown is 13 - 5 against McClenathan in prior events. McClenathan with a slight starting line advantage and then started to shake and he pedaled it. The car then started smoking the tires and dropping cylinders before he lifted. Brown launched hard and was straight down the groove with the quickest pass of race day for the win.
