Anderson is 23 - 2 against Gaines in prior events. Anderson won here in 2003 and Gaines was the runner-up in 2008. Anderson is leaking fuel as he backs up from the burnout and is shut off. Anderson is out in the first round for the third time in four Countdown to the Championship races. Gaines is straight down the groove for the easy win...Gaines will give up lane choice to A. Johnson in the next round. |
