Stoffer was the runner-up here last year, losing on a red light to Angelle Savoie in the
final round. She was also the runner up at Columbus this year. Shawn Gann won at Englishtown
earlier this year. Stoffer and Gann have raced each other three times, with Gann winning two of
those races.
Gann got this win when Stoffer left the starting line too soon and lit the red light. Gann had
a clean run but was not quick enough to earn lane choice over Scali in the next round. |
