Cory McClenathan clinched his spot in the Countdown to 1 earlier this weekend. Brown is 9 - 3 against McClenathan in prior events. They leave together and McClcnathan is up in smoke as soon as he hits the throttle. Then Brown starts to smoke the tires, so McClenathan pedals it and is back up in smoke, he attempts a couple more times to get to hook up and can't get it to hook up. Brown pedals it and lose traction again and pedals it again and then starts dropping cylinders, but takes the win hazing the tires through the 1000 feet.
