Schumacher is 12 - 5 against Vandergriff in prior events, but they are 3 -3 in first round meetings. They are both up in smoke as soon as they hit the throttle and then the pedal fest starts. Schumacher pedaled it at least four times and then it appeared it might of thrown the belt on the top end. Vandergriff gave the car time to settle down and almost was able to chase him down. He will give up lane choice to Will in the next round.
