Left Lane: Neal Wantye Runs 4.917/101.19, Now #14; Best prior run: 5.319/89.28, Was #14
Right Lane: Larry Jeffers Runs 3.978/186.79, Now #13; Best prior run: 4.045/170.11, Was #13
6:08 p.m. Wantye shook and slowed, but Jeffers made his quickest rn of the day in the school bus.
Left Lane: Joey Martin Runs 3.795/200.86, Now #7; Best prior run: 3.742/200.86, Was #7
Right Lane: Von Smith Runs 3.724/203.68, Now #6; Best prior run: 3.719/202.45, Was #6
Martin's car made a strange move about 200 feet out, killing his ET. Nice pass by Smith, slightly slower than his run last round.
Left Lane: Bubba Stanton Runs 5.741/81.78, Now #4; Best prior run: 3.710/206.29, Was #4
Right Lane: Danny Lowry Runs 3.881/196.47, Now #12; Best prior run: 3.871/203.71, Was #12
Stanton shook and lifted. Lowry made a strong run, not quite as quick as his first run today.
Left Lane: Eric Dillard Runs 4.823/126.72, Now #10; Best prior run: 3.798/211.63, Was #10
Right Lane: Mike Recchia Runs 5.665/75.02, Now #8; Best prior run: 3.776/203.00, Was #8
Both drivers rattled the tires and both lifted.
Left Lane: Mick Snyder Runs 3.698/206.23, Now #3; Best prior run: 3.705/204.79, Was #2
Right Lane: Alex Hossler Runs 3.677/204.48, Now #1; Best prior run: 3.717/203.65, Was #5
These two made their best runs in the first session.
Hossler showed everybody who's #1, but the car with #1 on the side wasn't far behind. Even so, Hossler's rocket shot pushed Snyder one run down on the ladder. Nice runs!
Mick Snyder's incremental times: 60ft-0.943 sec., 330ft-2.500.
Alex Hossler's incremental times: 60ft-0.921 sec., 330ft-2.466.
Left Lane: Brandon Snider Runs 3.684/204.05, Now #2; Best prior run: 3.682/203.00, Was #2
Right Lane: John Stanley Runs 3.782/202.73, Now #9; Best prior run: 3.806/201.01, Was #11
Snider was just bumped off the top spot, where he'd been all day long.
Snider ran another 3.68, but failed to improve. Stanley made his best run of the day, moved up a couple spots, but won't have lane choice in round one.
Right Lane: Duane Rister Runs 3.829/194.58, Now #10; Best prior run: 3.788/198.23, Was #10
Rister closed the session with a strong launch, but he ran out of steam on the top end.
