Right Lane: Eric Clark Runs 3.805/199.35, Now #1
11:58 a.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 66 degrees, relative humidity 54 percent, barometer 29.14 inches, adjusted altitude 1,561 feet, track temperature 65 degrees.
Blower cars to the line.
Left Lane: Terry Leggett Runs 3.853/195.85, Now #2
Right Lane: Mike Recchia Runs 5.665/86.42, Now #4
Strong pass for Leggett into the number two spot.
Recchia shakes hard off the line and has the chute blossom about 150 feet out.
Left Lane: Jay Diedrich Runs 4.489/115.09, Now #5
Right Lane: Duane Rister Runs 3.741/200.29, Now #1
Rister powers off the line and thunders down the track for top ET and top speed, so far.
Diedrich's Camaro was a little slow off the line and starts to drive towards the wall down track. He lifts early.
Duane Rister's incremental times: 60ft-0.923 sec., 330ft-2.504.
Left Lane: Quain Stott Runs 3.850/196.56, Now #3
Right Lane: Shawn Jones Runs 4.032/165.74, Now #6
Scott gets away first and pulls steadily ahead, as Jones slows down track, after a lazy leave.
Quain Stott's incremental times: 60ft-0.970 sec., 330ft-2.590.
Shawn Jones' incremental times: 60ft-1.031 sec., 330ft-2.685.
Left Lane: Randell Reid Runs 63.992/33.96, Now #10
Right Lane: Jon Stouffer Runs 4.197/129.49, Now #7
Stouffer gets a great start and runs hard until near the 330 lights. The blower goes bang big time and he coasts on through.
Reid was shaking the tires at the hit and pops the burst panel about 100 feet out and stops on the track.
Left Lane: Tim Tindle Runs 5.077/96.84, Now #9
12:21 p.m. Back to qualifying...
Wootton does his burnout in the right lane and then has the chute pop out right behind the line.
Tindle runs a strong 0.957 sixty foot time and then has the tires shake.
Right Lane: Todd Tutterow Runs 4.222/142.39, Now #8
Tutterow is running two big turbos.
The car shoot off the line and starts to move around the track. He is on and off the throttle and finally has to give it up.
Right Lane: Todd Martin No Time, Now #8
Right Lane: Brandon Pesz Runs 3.752/203.65, Now #2
Pesz runs strong off the line with a terrific 0.932 sixty foot time and runs the new top speed of the meet, slotting into the number two spot on the ladder behind Rister.
Brandon Pesz's incremental times: 60ft-0.932 sec., 330ft-2.519.
Right Lane: Neal Wantye Runs 5.462/87.10, Now #12
Strong 0.939 sixty foot time and then tire shake overcomes the pass.
