HAWK POINT, Mo. -- 2013 Season Season
For the 2013 racing season, that support will include a prominent partnership with the X-treme Drag Racing League (XDRL), a new eighth-mile sanctioning body that will debut with a nine-race schedule starting in April.
"This will be the only1/8-mile drag racing series that we will be supporting in 2013, and we are excited to be working with the X-DRL for the coming season and to attend each event," TMRC Owner Tim McAmis said.
"Tim McAmis Race Cars and Tim McAmis Performance Parts (TMPP) are going to support the X-DRL 100 percent and we will be doing whatever we can to help promote the series."
The TMRC partnership with the X-DRL will include a number of items to be released in the coming weeks, including official sponsorship, contingency sponsorship and much more.
Additionally, the popular TMPP trackside support transporter will be in attendance at each of the X-DRL's 9 races, offering assistance with fabrication, repairs, extra parts and a multitude of other items.
The trailer contains an extensive line of products and the TMRC staff will be on hand to offer racers assistance in a variety of ways during each race weekend.
In fact, McAmis said the state-of-the-art trackside support transporter and TMRC staff will offer more services than ever before in 2013.
"We are thrilled to take our team and truck and trailer to each X-DRL event and we plan on expanding our on-site presence even more at these races," McAmis said. "The X-DRL will feature the best 1/8-mile racing in the world in 2013 and will visit some of the best tracks in the nation, and we're thrilled to offer even more services out of our updated trackside support transporter."
Featuring a solid ownership group headed by Jeff Mitchell, David Hubbard and Larry Pearce, as well as an experienced racing staff, the X-DRL is set to make a major splash on the drag racing scene in 2013.
It will feature racing in nine professional, action-packed classes (Pro X-treme, Pro Nitrous, Pro Turbo, X-treme Pro Stock, X-treme Pro Mod, Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Pro Junior Dragster and the Supercar Showdown), and its nine races will include stops at outstanding facilities, including zMAX Dragway in Charlotte, Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis and historic Bristol Dragway.
"I feel that this series has the right business plan, the right staff, the right equipment and everything you need in order to put together first-class events and run a professional series," McAmis said.
"We feel this will be the best place for our customers to showcase their cars and talents. With the way the events are going to be run from safety to track prep, we feel this is the only place to race in the 1/8-mile in 2013. There's going to be a lot of exciting stuff in store and we're behind the X-DRL 100 percent."
