ENNIS, Texas - Results of round 2 eliminations in Pro Nitrous at the American Drag Racing League, ADRL World Finals VIII presented by CarSafe:

6:38 p.m. Laurita's crew was scrambling around the front of his car, finally signaled him to pull up and stage. Jenkins patiently waited through the delay and it did not appear to be a factor in the outcome. They left almost together and both drivers made good runs. Shannon Jenkins' MOV: 0.0288 seconds (approximately 8 feet), Jenkins making his quickest run of the event.

Allen had a small advantage at the green and made his best run of the event (by almost a tenth) to take the upset win. It was Rahaim's slowest run of the event, making Allen's win possible.
Stan Allen's incremental margins: 60ft(0.001), 330 ft(0.030). MOV: 0.0208 seconds (approximately 6 feet).

Allen will not have lane choice when he faces Jenkins in the semifinals.

They left together, but Jones' car wagged its tail with tire shake and he had to backpedal to tame it down.

Pilcher left first, but Stoken ran him down before the 60-foot marker and pulled away to win by about a car length. It was also the quickest run of the round and he will have lane choice against Rietserer in the semifinals.
