Right Lane: John Stanley Runs 3.754/202.61, Now #11; Best prior run: 3.702/207.24, Was #11
Taylor needs a 3.612 to back up his 3.577 from last night. Doesn't seem likely in these conditions, but nobody expected him to run that number last night, either.
He made a strong charge, but something let go about 500 feet out, maybe the blower belt, and he slowed.
Left Lane: Gaylen Smith Runs 3.889/193.93, Now #21; Best prior run: 3.892/187.60, Was #22
Right Lane: Tommy D'Aprile Runs 3.652/205.26, Now #2; Best prior run: 3.580/209.85, Was #2
Smith improved slightly, but not enough to qualify. D'Aprile made the quickest run of the session, edging out Stanley and Snyder.

Right Lane: Danny Lowry No Time, Now #22; Best prior run: 3.892/198.00, Was #22
Lowry never did get his car staged and was timed out. Pesz made a nice run, second-quickest of the session.

Thompson's car was wagging its tail early in the run and he had a 1.012 60-foot time.

Moyer was off the pace from the start with a 1.10 60-foot time. Leggett had a good start, with a 0.961 60-foot time, but the car shook a couple hundred feet out and he backpedaled to get through it.
