NORWALK, Ohio - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Aeromotive Fuel Systems Pro Mod at the American Drag Racing League, ADRL Summit Racing Equipment Ohio Drags VI presented by Mickey Thompson listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: David Hance Runs 4.287/180.43, Now #11; Best prior run: 4.663/146.16, Was #11

11:26 a.m. Dan Stevenson is on the bump spot at 4.111.

Turbos, a pair...Hance flirted with the centerline and came up short. Tutterow made a strong run with a huge speed, resetting the track speed record. He also moved one rung up the ladder, but he's still in the bottom half.

Left Lane: Monroe Guest Runs 4.076/181.13, Now #6; Best prior run: 4.031/184.98, Was #6
Right Lane: Jeffrey Cummins Jr Runs 3.963/188.04, Now #3; Best prior run: 3.975/187.65, Was #3

Good run, no improvement for Guest. Good run, small improvement for Cummins, who stays third on the ladder.

Left Lane: Jeff Naiser Runs 4.106/162.65, Now #4; Best prior run: 3.986/187.13, Was #4
Right Lane: Tim Tindle Runs 4.234/176.26, Now #10; Best prior run: 4.227/174.46, Was #10

Naiser shiut off early. Tindle failed to improve after backpedaling once, about 200 feet out.

Left Lane: Larry Higginbottham Runs 4.154/176.26, Now #8; Best prior run: 4.108/176.12, Was #7
Right Lane: Pat Musi Runs 3.960/191.57, Now #3; Best prior run: 5.103/98.57, Was #12

Musi had three misses in three attempts and his car made several violent twitches during thios run, but he muscled it through without lifting and jumped into the top half of the field. Higginbottham failed to improve and found himself on the bump spot after Musi's run.

Left Lane: Matt Guenther Runs 6.903/91.64, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.136/102.03, Was #14
Right Lane: Dan Stevenson Runs 4.139/187.99, Now #9; Best prior run: 4.111/155.22, Was #9

Stevenson was just bumped from the field by Musi. He also had to backpedal part way through this run after a promising launch and also failed to improve. Guenther shook hard and lifted.

Left Lane: Keith Haney Runs 6.532/96.92, Now #13; Best prior run: 5.466/117.21, Was #13
Right Lane: Raymond Matos Runs 3.916/188.04, Now #1; Best prior run: 3.910/187.52, Was #1

Haney's car is a twin of the Camaro Monroe Guest is driving, right down to the paint scheme, but Guest' car has gone down the track and Haney's has not.

More problems for Haney, a nitrous backfire about 200 feet out. Nice run by Matos, just a few thousandths sloewer than his best yesterday.

Left Lane: Dave Roemer Runs 3.978/189.07, Now #5; Best prior run: 4.211/156.70, Was #10
Right Lane: Adam Flamholc Runs 3.948/187.91, Now #2; Best prior run: 3.934/189.79, Was #2

Roemer has a lot of fans here, it's not far from home, and they were all happy when he finally got the full pass he'd been looking for all day yesterday. Flamholc also made a nice pass, giving the growing Saturday crowd a nice side-by-side show to close out the session.
