NORWALK, Ohio --
Division 9 will kick things off at Don Plemons's Farmington Dragway "The Track Too Tuff to Tame" on March 5 & 6.
The next stop on the Division 9 tour will be Rockingham Dragway, one on IHRA's premier tracks. This will be March 19-20-21 and will be the only three day event on the Division 9 schedule.
Third stop will be Piedmont Dragway April 9-10. Jim Turner and Bob Harris have a winning combination and were the first guys to prove the success of the two day event last year.
The tour then pulls into Mooresville Dragway April 23-24. The Leazer family has owned the track for the last 50 years. With G.W. at the helm you know that things will be right. G.W. says "with 50 years of practice he knows what he's doing."
Next we go to Troy and Ronnie Humphrey's Coastal Plains Dragway May 21-22. This will be our 2nd year visiting this great track. Those of you that were there remember how great the track was and friendly the staff was, and it will only get better.
The final stop will be Dunn Benson Dragstrip June 25-26. This will be our first Pro-Am at Dunn Benson under the ownership of Roger Williams. With Roger and track manager Brian Williams a lot of things have changed the last few years and they haven't given up yet, as more improvements are scheduled for this winter.
Piedmont Dragway will host the division 9 Sportsman National on July 30-31. This event will provide regional competitors will an additional chance to qualify for the Tournament of Champions that will be contested at the world finals at Virginia Motorsports Park.
