IHRA Top Sportsman and Top Dragster racers attending the three Canadian national events in 2004 continue to "cash in" thanks to "Top Lottery" program sponsors Performance Racing News and The Trailer Shop (Canada). At the recent Western RV Rocky Mountain Nationals in Edmonton, the winners were Perry Thyr (from Drayton Valley, AB) in Top Sportsman and Kerry Beebe (from Kelowna, BC) in Top Dragster. Both Thyr and Beebe won $500.00 and a commerative plaque which was presented by program co-founder and Pro Mod racer, Carl "Big Dog" Spiering, who also owns and operates The Trailer Shop (Canada), located in Jordan Station, ON. Thyr and Beebe joined previous program winners Brian Lampton and Todd Hope, who took the awards during the Mopar Canadian Nationals at Grand Bend Motorplex.

"Top Sportsman and Top Dragster class racers give an awful lot to the sport but don't always get the recognition they deserve," said Spiering. "We (at The Trailer Shop) appreciate their efforts and we are pleased to be able to give something back."

The PRN/Trailer Shop "Top Lottery" program will conclude it's innovative new sponsorship program during the upcoming ACDelco Canadian Nationals at Toronto Motorsports Park (July 30th-August 1st). All Top Sportsman and Top Dragster competitors are eligible to win.
