NORWALK, Ohio - The IHRA World Championship Series (WCS) schedule has been announced by the International Hot Rod Association.
The 16 race series will feature 8 races each in Northern and Southern Regions. The season will begin with the Southern Region event at Hub City Dragway in Hattiesburg, Miss., on February 27 & 28. The Northern Region will open at New England Dragway in Epping, N.H. on May 1 & 2.
Both regions will conclude on Labor Day Weekend, September 4 & 5, with the Northern Region at Cordova Dragway Park in Cordova, Ill., and the Southern Region at Kinston, Dragway, Kinston, N.C.
Racers may declare either region to be their "home region", but that determination must be declared at the first race attended.
