TOPEKA, Kan. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Alcohol Funny Car at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 25th annual NHRA Kansas Nationals:

Lombardo Jr. is 1 - 0 against Hool in prior events. Hool with the starting line advantage, but Lombardo Jr. is able to chase him down around half track. John Lombardo Jr.'s MOV: 0.0322 seconds (approximately 12 feet).

Ruckman with the starting line advantage, and then made a quick move toward the centerline, but reeled it in. billington was able to chase him down right in the lights for the win 0.0044 seconds (approximately 17 inches).
