Rain Ends Racing for Today
By Dave Rowe

COMMERCE, Ga. -

Mother Nature has struck again here at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals. The track crew had dried the track, four pair of Super Gas cars ran followed by four pairs of Pro Stock when it started misting. The mist continued, then got heavier and race officials decided to call it a night. The plan for tomorrow is to start with the first round of Stock Eliminator eliminations at 9:00AM and continue from there, weather permitting.
