Lane 2: Tony Pedregon Runs 4.739/189.18, Now #9; No Prior Run

Pedregon gets out of shape, pedals two or three
times, but runs well enough to get in the show for now.

Worsham makes a clean pass, right down the groove, and he moves up to the fourth spot.
DeJoria is able to make a full pass on this one and gets off the bump.
Alexander makes a decent pass and gets in the show in the seventh spot for now.
Pedregon gets about 300 feet out, starts hazing the tires and has to pedal.
Dale Creasy Jr. is on the
bump spot at 6.257.

Gray gets about 300 feet out, hazes the tires and will not make the show.
Creasy gets a little further, loses traction, but stays with it and gets off the bump.
Wilkerson made a full pass and moves all the way to the fourth spot.
Hight gets about 500 feet out and bangs the blower. The front of the car's body comes off and lands at
the 660' mark. The rest of the body comes off and goes over the wall about 800 feet down. Even after all the excitement
he still manages to improve on his earlier run but is on the bump spot.

Courtney Force hazes the tires early, makes a move to the left and she backs out of the throttle.
Hagan goes right down the groove and moves into the sixth spot.
John Force was out of the throttle about 600 feet out, not sure why.

Tasca goes up in smoke about 200 feet out and has to back off the throttle.
Beckman gets a little further, loses traction and gives up on the run.
Capps was on a decent pass but had problems late in the run.
Head had problems early, the chute coming out about 500 feet out and he slows.
Head hangs on to take the pole in only the third
race of his career.
