Right Lane: Tommy D'Aprile Runs 5.495/84.62, Now #8; Best prior run: 3.665/200.86, Was #8
1:03 p.m. Chris Russo is on the bump spot at 3.868.
D'Aprile's car was loose early in the run and he lifted. Millen made his second pass of the event, another good one.
Left Lane: Duane Rister Runs 3.810/200.41, Now #16; Best prior run: 4.474/149.51, Was #20
Right Lane: Von Smith Runs 3.703/204.39, Now #12; Best prior run: 3.713/205.69, Was #13
Millen's car left a little oil on the track past the finish line, so there was a brief delay before these two made their burnouts.
Two good runs, Smith improving slightly to move up one spot, Rister getting his first full pass of the event to bump into the field, replacing Russo on the bump spot.
Left Lane: Bubba Stanton Runs 4.757/104.29, Now #4; Best prior run: 3.629/210.34, Was #4
Right Lane: Clint Thompson Runs 9.287/99.80, Now #15; Best prior run: 3.766/200.57, Was #15
Both drivers shook and danced, then lifted.

Right Lane: Jason Scruggs Runs 3.631/209.36, Now #3; Best prior run: 3.614/209.56, Was #3
Two nice runs, neither driver improved. That's Scruggs' third 3.6 in a row
Left Lane: Frankie Taylor Runs 3.620/209.56, Now #4; Best prior run: 3.634/209.07, Was #5
Right Lane: John Stanley Runs 3.887/199.88, Now #19; Best prior run: 4.316/152.83, Was #20
Stanley made his first full pass of the weekend, but it was not good enough. Taylor improved enough to move one rung up the tightly-packed top half of the ladder.
Left Lane: Mick Snyder Runs 3.601/209.33, Now #1; Best prior run: 3.598/209.95, Was #1
Right Lane: Neal Wantye Runs 3.702/207.05, Now #12; Best prior run: 3.706/201.04, Was #13
Wow! Snyder is a very quick bracket racer, four runs between 3.598 and 3.627, three out of the four over 209 mph. Wantye, onm the other hand , has struggled, but he finished with his best run of the event, enough to move off the lucky 13th spot.
Right Lane: Jay Diedrich Runs 5.564/84.54, Now #20; Best prior run: 4.217/184.52, Was #20
Diedrich's car shook and started to turn to the right, so he lifted.

Right Lane: Terry Leggett Runs 3.842/197.25, Now #11; Best prior run: 3.694/208.36, Was #11
Stott had a brief fire on the top end last night, but he got it out quickly and the damage was not severe.
Stott improved, but not enough to move up the list. Leggett shut off before the stripe, did not see any obvious reason.
Left Lane: Todd Martin No Time, Now #9; Best prior run: 3.688/205.98, Was #9
Right Lane: Art McMahan No Time, Now #18; Best prior run: 3.868/193.16, Was #18
Martin's car came to a stop after the burnout and he had to be pushed back, the engine silent.
McMahan staged, the light went green, and his car did not move. They let him restage the car and he showed how not to get down the track, the car fishtailing several times.
Left Lane: Brandon Pesz Runs 3.617/211.23, Now #2; Best prior run: 3.603/209.69, Was #2
Right Lane: Chris Russo Runs 6.441/70.12, Now #17; Best prior run: 3.868/200.68, Was #17
Russo was bumped from the field earlier in this round, won't get back in after launching into tire shake. Pesz made an awesome run, great ET, huge speed, a track record.
